This collaborative event, organized by Famegate Studios in Singapore and Oceaniacom Films (formerly Auspol Media) in Australia, seamlessly blends the best of both nations, offering a unique platform for filmmakers and enthusiasts alike.
The journey began in 2014 with the inaugural Port Stephens Film Festival, a three-day extravaganza packed with captivating films. Nestled just over 2½ hours north of Sydney and a short 45-minute drive from Newcastle, Port Stephens served as the perfect backdrop for this cinematic celebration.
Guy Perrine, Oceaniacom Pty Ltd’s Director, has dedicated his creative energy as a content creator and a staunch supporter of his creative colleagues. The Port Stephens/Australian-Singapore Film Festival is the result of his long-held vision that the future of the Australian film industry depends upon reaching out and promoting collaborations with Singapore-based, wider Southeast Asian, and Chinese filmmakers.
