Hello! My name is Emily and I am the founder of Emily’s World of Design – a graphic design studio that specializes in professional book cover design. I have a master’s degree in Architecture and have worked in that industry for a year. I liked my job but when I found out that there is a job called book cover designer, I got butterflies in my stomach. In school, I was always a kid who drew something in her notebook instead of listening to my math teacher and had googly eyes in literature class.​

I feel like I was born to become a book cover designer, even if it took some time until I realized that. The greatest satisfaction that I get from my job is holding a book with my book cover design on it. In a moment like that, I feel so happy and proud. Also, I like to drink coffee and eat pancakes. Just in case you were wondering.

I have over six years of experience in designing book covers for both traditional publishing houses and indie authors. I fully understand the need to be able to incorporate your vision into your book cover and I allow you to do this while simultaneously designing a cover that reaches the right target audience and catches a potential reader’s eye, making them purchase the book.

That is why before we get started, I will send you a detailed questionnaire to fill out. The questionnaire will provide me with all the information I need to give you exactly what you want. In case you don’t like them, we keep working on it until you think it’s perfect without any additional cost to you. My goal is for you to get a cover that both you and your readers will be in love with so that you don’t think twice about what to do when the time comes for your next book cover design.​

Besides book covers, I also design various promotional materials for your book, logos, fantasy maps, etc. If you have an idea about something that you need designed but can’t find it on my website, just ask me and I will let you know if that is something I can do and how much it would cost.
